Will GTA V For PC Be ‘Cancelled’?

LOS ANGELES — After years of anticipation, the long-awaited PC version of GTA V could soon be cancelled, according to a Rockstar employee.

Brad says he allegedly works as a Marketing director for Rockstar North and is also the founder of his own marketing firm called “Rantic Marketing“, which was created following the historic launch of GTA V.

On Rantic’s official website, Brad expresses concern about the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V being cancelled.

On Thursday, we sat down with one of the marketing directors of Rantic, to talk about Rockstar North’s future for the Grand Theft Auto series.

During the interview, Rantic Chairman John Hoffbergerstated that the PC version of GTA 5 could soon be cancelled due to ‘corporate problems’. “The next-gen console launch dates are still intact, but the PC game launch has been agitating for Rockstar staff”, John said.

John also stated,”Rockstar never wanted to release a PC version of GTA V, but due to high public demand, they were forced to do so.”

Is Rockstar really planning to stop development for GTA V for PC?

Apparently, Rockstar recently announced GTA V for next-gen and PC will be delayed until 2015.

UPDATE: Rockstar Games has unofficially confirmed that GTA V will be coming to PC. Rockstar has not announced a release date. The website www.rantic.com has been unofficially confirmed to be a hoax. The site is a social store where users can buy instagram followers, twitter followers, facebook likes or youtube views. Rantic is a marketing firm that is said to be behind a couple of other viral hoaxes.

This is not the first viral hoax from Rantic, as they claimed to hoax GTA 5 users a few times before in 2013. Rockstar Announcement was the name of one of the hoaxes that the social media marketing firm Rantic claims to have taken credit for. @RanticMarketing is not a new marketing company, it went under former names throughout the past few years, according to The Daily Dot.

The marketing site claims that it sells REAL social followers or fans for a cheap price. The prices are listed on their official website.
