108-restaurant-london LONDON — Whilst Thanksgiving may not be something we associate with celebrating in the U.K, 108 Brasserie in Marylebone are breaking away from conformity to pay homage to our friends from the other side of the Atlantic, serving up a bespoke menu this Thursday 27th November. This menu, created by Head Chef Russell Ford, costs £35 per head. Diners will be greeted on arrival with a welcome cocktail, setting the celebratory spirit immediately. To start, diners can choose between New England clam chowder, Shrimp and crab cocktail topped with spiced avocado, or Roast beet salad with watercress, maple walnuts and goats cheese.

For main course, Roast Norfolk Bronze Turkey with chestnut stuffing, baked squash and green bean casserole, Cajun spiced fillet of Cod with sweet potato chips and creamed corn, or Halloumi and Jalapeño filo with refried beans, smoked mash and crispy onions. No need to worry if you’re a vegetarian, as there are other options available.

When dessert comes around, and if you can fit any more in, guests can choose from Pumpkin pie and clotted cream, Pecan pie with Vanilla ice cream, or Toffee apple crumble and custard. This one off is available on Thanksgiving Day, 27 November, for lunch and dinner. We think it’s well worth giving a go, variety is the spice of life after all!
