MEXICO — One of the greatest comedians of all-time in the latin community has passed away. The mexican comedian and actor Roberto Gomez Bolanos has left a footprint in the hearts of all the people who laughed and smiled — in the past couple of generations. The mexican comedy legend died at the age of 85 on Friday.
The exact cause of death has not been reported.”Chespirito” leaves behind Florinda Meza, a wonderful wife that is younger than Roberto. The president of Mexico Enrique Pena Nieto expressed his condolences regarding Roberto’s death. “Mexico has lost an icon whose work has transcended generations and borders,” the President said on his Twitter account.
El Chavo also has a son Roberto Gomez Fernandez, who is a TV producer. “His ultimate intention was to entertain audiences in a wholesome way,” Gomez Fernandez commented on his fathers death. El Chavo’s hit TV shows became popular in Latin America throughout the 70s.
