NEW YORK — Brooklyn Museum Presents: “Unconventionally Masculine” and Presenting Designer E. JAGUAR BECKFORD Founder and CEO, Jaguar & Company Clothier (JagandCo.) at the DapperQ’s (Un)Heeled Fashion Show, December 6, 2014. E. Jaguar Beckford is a fashion designer and stylist from New York. Beckford also has a strong background in the music industry being an Executive Producer and Juris Doctorate of Law in Entertainment.

Beckford is simply no stranger to the entertainment industry. At the event, Brooklyn Museum is expected to present Beckford at the fashion show. With close to 3000 people in attendance, Beckford sees this as “another opportunity to show the world that you must be passionate about what you do each day of your life. If you don’t love what you do, you are doing the wrong thing.” The music veteran and entrepreneur seeks to design and put out fashion for both men and women.

Since the start of Beckford’s company in February of 2013, Beckford has managed to specialize in masculine and feminine, while at the same time — boasting a collection that combines the artistic beauty of vibrant patterns with luxurious fabrics such as cotton voile, silk, and wool, to produce a dual style of vintage chic meets contemporary. Being an experienced contract negotiator for artists, its also a strong advocate to guide them in developing their brands.

Beckford launched Rainbow Fashion Week last June to spotlight menswear-inspired clothing line, Jaguar and Company, and help underrepresented designers, models, stylists, filmmakers and other creative types gain exposure. Beckford’s passion and accomplishments with fashion has led New York Mayor Bill de Blasio to give her innovation some major recognition.
