Jonathan Hay was one of the successful co-founders of SMH Records with Mike Smith. They have reportedly made an offer of a stunning $15 million project with Jay Z to produce an entire album. On July 1st, 2015 Jonathan Hay had paid tribute to the late Keith Whitley on what would have been his 60th birthday. He recreated elements of his timeless country smash “Don’t Close Your Eyes” and made it his own in this fitting tribute. Billboard exclusively premiered the song and Hay’s very own story.
